callaway the performance standard
The goal of our X-Series Irons has always been lofty: Set the performance standard for the industry. We’ve done it again
with the X-22 Irons, the best X-Series Irons we’ve ever made. The perimeter weighting of the X-22s has been maximized for a
moment of inertia (MOI) that’s 10 percent higher than their predecessors, meaning you get more forgiveness on off-center
strikes. The ideal center of gravity position has been preserved, generating optimal ball-flight trajectories. We’ve also
incorporated the Modified Tru-Bore design, dampening vibration for enhanced feel. The tour-inspired head shape has a slightly
thinner topline and sole with a large sweet spot for improved aesthetics and forgiveness to boost your confidence.
Precision Notch Weighting
Precisely positions more weight to the perimeter of the iron to create a higher moment of inertia (MOI) for greater
forgiveness and stability while maintaining the center of gravity position that produces ideal trajectories and feel.
Tour-Inspired Head ShapeTitleist AP2
Our engineers took elements designed for Tour players, like a thinner top line and narrower sole, and incorporated them into
highly forgiving irons with a higher MOI so they can be played by a wide range of callaway golfers.
Modified Tru-Bore
An advanced version of the original Tru-Bore design, the polycarbonate tip plug at the end of the shaft dampens vibration for
enhanced feel and performance.
VFT Technologycallaway x22
VFT Technology maximizes ball speed and perimeter weighting for more distance and forgiveness; S2H2 increases discretionary
weight by removing it from the hosel and repositioning it in the perimeter of the clubhead; 360-Degree Undercut Channel
maximizes perimeter weighting by moving the CG lower and farther back in the clubhead, enlarging the hitting area and
stabilizing the
Irons designed to provide an elite level of performance for highly skilled golfers.
After receiving feedback straight from Tour players, callaway Golf designers decided to refine the X-Forged Irons. The end
result is precision clubs that let elite players dissect the course. Forged from soft carbon steel, the clubhead has been
redesigned with more bounce and camber and a tighter sole radius. The thin topline, narrow sole and short blade length allow
for excellent workability. The Flighted CG Design produces strong trajectories and premium distance control while the new
Progressive Dual Notch Weighting allows weight to be precisely positioned for optimized performance throughout the set.
Forged 1020 Carbon Steel Construction
Provides unmatched feel and performance, giving elite-level golfers incredibly soft, responsive feedback at impact.
Tour-Inspired Head Styling
Additional bounce improves turf interaction and more camber provides greater versatility. The sole radius was tightened to
add to the versatility under various playing conditions. The thin topline, narrow sole and shorter blade length combine to
generate maximum workability and the White Chrome finish mutes glare.
Flighted CG Design callaway
Provides the optimal trajectories, ball flight, and distance control that Tour players demand with seamless performance
progression through the entire set.
Progressive Dual Notch Weighting
Placing weight on the top and bottom of the cavity allows for the Flighted CG Design. By progressively adjusting the notch
weighting through the set, it strategically adds more weight to shorter irons and removes weight from longer irons to produce
strong, penetrating trajectories.

The Company, which also sells golf accessories such as bags, gloves, footwear, GPS devices, golf and lifestyle apparel, golf callaway
headwear, eyewear, golf towels and golf umbrellas, said it will begin to accept pre-orders for equipment from mid-January
2010 and begin shipping products by late February 2010 in India.
